TedTalks– Robinson and Creativity in Schools

This is a video I saw my first year teaching… of course my opinions have changed… maybe I’ve become a bit cynical… but I still love to watch it to remind myself how important it is that every student have the opportunity to express themselves and not all students learn the same way. Enjoy and be reflective. Is my pedagogical practice preventing creativity for the sake of a test score?

I just attended a workshop that was developed in association with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. It was on deepening comprehension and assessment for learning through drama. So excited to implement this into my teaching. Visit http://www.SeanLayne.com and view on the VIDEOS page
